Timpanogos Emergency Response Team
TERT acts as an assistance to SAR (Search and Rescue) on Mount Timpanogos. The team operates under the authority of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Forestry Service. Timp sees exceptionally heavy hiker traffic at multiple points on the mountain. A number of fatalities resulted in volunteers working together to help provide quicker assistance to hikers. I joined in 2020 as a communications officer in order to exercise my HAM radio license while enjoying nature and helping others. That role has expanded over the years:

- Board Member focusing on Social Media
- Medical support with CPR/AED and Wilderness First Aid
