Legend has it that if the Tower of London is ever abandoned by these Ravens, the Tower and England will fall. These bird were huge, about 1.5' tall. Several birds are kept permenantly in cages to avoid the dred prophecy.

This building houses the crown jewels. I never thought I was a jewlery girl, but I have to admit, those were some very pretty sparkly stones!

The White Tower, or the original Tower of London. It was built by William the Conqueror, who happens to be my 27th great grandfather. Unfortunately, he was a rather unpopular fellow, hence the building of the Tower.
