My first Phoenix design. I changed it a bit this year by using a scrapper to carve small pieces out around the bird. I was going for a more fiery effect. Not sure if it works.

My dad's skull and leaf design. This is a lot harder to carve than it looks. And by the time I did this one my back was killing from carving pumpkins all day.
